Pressure Wash Vinyl Siding With Steam Only!

Always ask how long it will take to clean
your home and do they use chemicals or steam. The correct answer is
steam. Chemicals will dry out the plastic and that is what vinyl is.
When we are done cleaning, you should be able to rub your hand anywhere on
your home and your hand will still be clean. If you tell other
companies you will be doing that, they won't bother to show up. We
really do care about what we do. This home took 9 hours to clean with
steam.

The siding looks like new! Look below
at a close up of the section above.

Hire with caution: Most
companies out there are just getting started in this business. We have
been around for 32 years. An average home with 2000 square feet of living
space will take us 6 to 8 hours to clean correctly. Other companies seem
to do it in an hour or so. Homeowners and companies purchase pressure
washers that have a lot of pressure and seem to hit every type of surface with
the same pressure. That is so wrong. Just because bleach is good on
whites, you wouldn't throw it in with the colors, would you? Whoever you
decide to use, they should know every surface they claim they can clean.
Yes, 32 years ago we too used chemicals to clean and we used cold water too.
Chemicals can make things appear clean, but the downfall is that the chemicals
can pull out natural oils from wood and leave it more susceptible to moisture,
therefore the wood will rapidly age. Vinyl siding cleaners are chlorinated
and chorine will dry out vinyl and cause it to oxidize and become brittle.
We have seen others use bleach on roofing to release the moss and it works.
The moss dries up and falls off. The down side to cleaning a roof that way
is after it is clean, the chlorine will attach to the petroleum of the roofing
and cause it to oxidize and dry out. Therefore the roofing will dry out, shrink
and curl and then you will be looking for a new roof. We can write a book
on the dos and don'ts but, we know you do not need to know all of this.
People count on businesses to know what they're doing. We don't claim to know it
all but we do know more than any other company in our field that we are aware
of.
